Employment: 2nd grade teacher at Mountain View School in Great Falls, MT
Schooling: I received my Bachelors’ degree from Northern Montana College in Elementary Education and am currently finishing my Master’s degree from Lesley University in Technology.
About Me: I have only been teaching for 3 years and they all have been in 2nd grade. This is a picture of me and one of my good friend’s daughter. I do not have any children of my own though one day I hope to. I also wait tables at night for extra money because as you know teachers get paid so much money.

Educator Toolkit
My question for the toolkit is: Does anybody have good sites for ELL learners? We have a lot of new students this year who speak different languages. I have been trying to find some good sites to help their teachers out.
My toolkit is 3 pages long so I added it as a link.

I like the overall layout of your brochure and how it isn't too overwhelming with too much technical information since it is geared towards parents. You have identified some great online resources for students with OHI. I noticed that you have a website for all of them except the Natural Reader. Maybe you could add the website to that particular bullet? Thanks for the information! I like how you define OHI, and list symptoms a student might present. Nice work!
Great presentation. The information you provided gives your colleagues a great start with new AT. The only thing that I see about your presentation that I would fix is that it looks like Voicethread may have cut off some of the writing on one of your pages. It did the same thing to me and i had to make the writing smaller and resubmit the page. It was a pain, but you can see all of the writing now. Other than that your presentation was great and i think it covered all of the necessary points.
I really enjoyed your presentation. You were extremely thorough and detailed regarding processes in your school. It is a shame that your principal isn't more supportive. I really think many teachers would benefit from hearing the information you share in your presentation. I might use some of your ideas and see if I could present it to my building. Nicely done!
I enjoyed checking out your resources in your tool kit. I'm sorry I can't help you out with your question about sites for ELL students. One thing I noticed was that you didn't list a print resource on your tool kit. I think that is one of the requirements. But other than that, I think you have chosen some very useful online resources. Thanks for sharing!
Gayle my print resource was the reading rocket article, unless I misunderstood the print resource. I will go back and check. Thanks for the heads up. Allan, thank you! I will get that out to them right away!
